Meet Alexis Leigh:

Poet, Editor, Teacher

"Why do I write poetry? The depth of such a genre is ultimate “heart work” to me. It allows me to dig deep in describing the eternal wonders of my Maker and surrounding creation, albeit I am only scratching the surface with words, yet the literary awe in capturing images of God’s personality, creation, and my ever-deepening relationship with Him, has given me great purpose in life.”

Poets I love?

Denise Levertov, Robert Bly, Li Young Lee, Leila Chatti, John Donne, Andrew Marvell, Hester Pulter, John Milton, King David…but the Chief Poet of them all?

Jesus Christ.

POETRY IS THE ULTIMATE HEART WORK.
